The traditions of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria are rich and vibrant.  Built upon the artistic genius of their Ancient Egyptian ancestors, the Copts continued the music and arts of the Pharaohs, enhanced by their Orthodox Christian faith.  Liturgical arts are a key component of the lived traditions of the Church.  Through this blog, TISHORI  will present reflections on vestments, liturgical vessels, architecture, iconography in the hopes of restoring the finest our heritage has to offer in service of the Church.
